I can not believe that it is already April! The MIDDLE of April at that!!
Since I last posted in October, I....
*Was sung into my AWESOME Chorus: The Scottsdale Chorus. We just got back from Pasadena, California where we were the hostess chorus for the region. We are going to Hawaii in November for International Competition!
*We celebrated Thanksgiving at Erik's Grandmother's house WITH Gman! That was pretty awesome.
*I went to Arkansas for Christmas Break for two weeks. Unfortunately, my husband had to work, so he picked up as MUCH overtime as humanly possible while I was gone. I had quite the adventure going out there by BUS. My mom and I FLEW back to Phoenix and she stayed with us for 10 days. The same day we arrived, we picked up Gman for our first Christmas a few days late. Then my in-laws came to visit while Gman was here. Gman went home, in-laws went home, then my mom went home.
*In January I started my 3rd term with the school where I'm teaching Math. To say it has been an experience would be the understatement OF. THE. YEAR. I'm not sure what the summer/upcoming year holds as far as me being there or not. Only the Lord knows!
*My first Valentine's was SO very sweet! My husband was so cute about it and sent me flowers at school, and then had a Sweet Adeline's quartet, which HAPPENED to be my principal's quartet come and sing to me and deliver a beautiful message to me. Sweetest. Thing. Ever.
*April 5-7 I traveled with my Chorus to Pasadena as mentioned above. Did you get that date? 5-7th?? Yah, I was stuck in CALIFORNIA on my FIRST ANNIVERSARY! *sigh* but I made it home around 8 that night. We celebrated later in the week by going to see The Beauty and the Beast musical at the Gammage Theater! WONDERFUL show!!
I think I've caught you up to date on what's happened in our lives so far since I last posted. Especially if you're not on facebook....lol
Lots of chorus coachings to look forward to in the chorus. We're moving downtown next month to be closer to church, friends, and my work. Can not WAIT!
Birthday soon. School's out SOON. Summer's soon.
Considering it is 1245 and husband will be up at 345 for overtime and I'll be up at 545? I think it's PAST time for bed....
